Your role will include:

  • Preparing and administering HR documentation, including contracts of employment.
  • Managing recruitment and liaising with recruitment agencies.
  • Delivering inductions for new starters and carrying out exit interviews.
  • Supporting the company's appraisal process.
  • Assisting with the Apprenticeship Programme and liaising with training providers.
  • Administering grievance and disciplinary processes.
  • Providing the Board of Directors with regular HR and legislative updates.
  • Building management capability by identifying training needs, mentoring and coaching.
  • Driving employee engagement, communication and wellbeing initiatives across the business.
  • Reviewing and renewing HR policies annually.

The role is full-time and based at the Cardiff office, with occasional travel to regional offices and sites as required.

About You:

We're looking for a proactive, well-organised HR professional with a strong grasp of employment law and the confidence to advise and support colleagues at all levels.

  • 3–5 years' experience in HR
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and how to apply it in practice
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan workloads and meet deadlines
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word)
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Able to use your own initiative within the parameters of the role

If you're an experienced HR professional looking for the opportunity to take real ownership of a function and grow with a thriving business, this could be the next move for you.
