As we continue our growth journey, we are looking to appoint a part-time HR Manager who can establish and develop our people processes, support our growing team, and evolve with the business over the coming years.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional seeking a flexible, hands-on role within a growing organisation.

Initially working around 8-10 hours per week, you will take ownership of the day-to-day HR function while helping us build scalable people processes to support planned growth. We anticipate increasing our headcount to approximately 35 employees by 2028, and we're looking for someone who is excited by the prospect of growing with us and increasing their involvement as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the employee onboarding process from offer acceptance through to induction
  • Drafting and issuing employment contracts and associated documentation
  • Coordinating and delivering employee inductions
  • Supporting managers with performance review processes
  • Maintaining employee records and HR administration
  • Reviewing, updating and developing company policies and procedures
  • Updating and maintaining the employee handbook
  • Providing advice and support on day-to-day HR matters
  • Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
  • Ensuring HR processes remain compliant with employment legislation and best practice
  • Assisting with future recruitment and workforce planning activities as the business grows

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys creating structure, building processes and developing a positive employee experience.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a standalone HR Manager, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience managing employee onboarding, contracts and HR administration
  • Confidence supporting performance management processes
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive and pragmatic approach
  • The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above preferred)
