We are seeking an experienced and engaging HR Manager to join a growing organisation and take ownership of the day-to-day HR function. This is a broad, hands-on generalist role, ideal for a HR professional who enjoys working within a small-medium organisation and making a genuine impact on culture, employee engagement and business performance.
 
You will provide trusted HR support and guidance across all levels of the business while managing a small HR and administration team.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR team, overseeing recruitment, employee development, performance and wellbeing.
• Provide expert HR guidance to managers across areas including capability, conduct, absence and employee relations.
• Ensure HR policies and processes remain compliant with UK employment legislation and ACAS guidance.
• Lead onboarding, induction, employee engagement, progress and exit interviews.
• Develop and deliver training and development programmes, including sector-specific training.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience and organisational performance.
• Manage HR budgets, headcount, reward, benefits and support monthly payroll administration.
• Champion employee wellbeing, inclusion and a positive workplace culture.

About You
We are looking for someone with:

• CIPD Level 5 qualification.
• Broad generalist HR knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law, ER and HR best practice.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing and problem-solving skills.
• Experience of employee engagement, training and development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
