HR Officer in Doncaster

Elevation HR are delighted to be recruiting for a leading service business in Doncaster as they look to recruit a HR Officer into the team on a full-time, permanent basis.

You’ll join an established HR team, supporting the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. Reporting into the HR Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting employee relations meetings, assisting managers with reviews and providing day-to-day HR administration to ensure the smooth running of HR processes. As a HR Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, providing practical guidance to managers and employees in line with company policies
• Support and manage routine, lower-risk ER cases, including probation, attendance, absence, conduct, capability and flexible working, from initial advice through to resolution
• Support formal and informal meetings, preparing documentation, taking notes, drafting correspondence and guiding managers through the appropriate processes
• Coordinate key HR activities, including contracts, employee changes, recruitment, onboarding, pre-employment checks, probation reviews and absence monitoring
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, produce routine reports, and support the development of HR policies, procedures, training and manager guidance.

The ideal candidate will:

• Previous experience in an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator or similar HR role
• Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle with some exposure to note-taking in ER
• Currently working towards a CIPD qualification or keen to pursue one
