HR Officer

This HR Officer role offers the opportunity to support a busy people function across employee relations, recruitment, HR administration and HR projects. You'll work closely with managers and employees, providing first-line HR support while helping deliver an excellent employee experience

Description

• Act as a first point of contact for HR queries and employee relations matters.
• Maintain HR records, employee data and HR system information.
• Prepare HR documentation including contracts and employment changes.
• Support employee relations cases, investigations and formal meetings.
• Deliver onboarding activities and HR inductions.
• Produce HR reports and management information.
• Assist with policy reviews, HR projects and process improvements.
• Support wellbeing initiatives and employee engagement activities.
• Manage HR inbox queries and ensure timely responses.
• Keep up to date with employment law and HR best practice

Profile

• Previous experience in a generalist HR role.
• Experience supporting employee relations cases.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Experience using HR systems and databases.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.
• Customer-focused with a proactive and collaborative approach

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £32,000 to £37,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Hybrid working model with two days in the office each week.
• Permanent position in a not-for-profit organisation.
