We're looking for an experienced HR Operations Partner to join our growing HR team, providing expert employee relations and operational HR support across our specialist social housing division, Chequers.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a fast-paced and highly compliant environment, supporting a business experiencing significant growth and change. Working closely with operational leaders and as part of a wider HR function, you'll help drive positive change, improve people practices, and deliver proactive HR solutions that support business objectives.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll partner with operational teams to provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, lead change initiatives, support organisational development, and help shape the people agenda across the division.

As a HR Operations Partner you'll:

  • Act as a trusted HR partner to operational managers, providing expert advice and guidance across a broad range of people matters.
  • Lead and support complex Employee Relations cases, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies and best practice.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, influencing positive outcomes and supporting operational success across the division.
  • Coach and develop managers, building capability, confidence and consistency in people management.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures, redundancies, TUPE activity and performance improvement programmes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across HR, Recruitment, Learning & Development and TUPE to deliver effective people solutions and support talent development

As a HR Operations Partner you'll have:

  • Proven HR experience within a fast-paced, commercial environment.
  • Strong Employee Relations expertise, including managing complex cases and providing commercially focused advice aligned to employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Experience partnering with operational leaders, influencing stakeholders and driving positive people outcomes.
  • Experience supporting organisational change, including restructures, redundancy consultations and TUPE activity.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build capability in others.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards), with a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
