Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to make a real impact within a well-established organisation undergoing continued change and transformation?
We are recruiting for an HR Business Partner to join a forward-thinking organisation based in Hertfordshire. This is a hands-on generalist role where you'll partner closely with managers across the business, providing expert advice and guidance throughout the employee lifecycle while leading on complex people matters.
Working in a hybrid environment, you'll play a key role in supporting organisational objectives, driving best practice and helping managers navigate a range of employee relations and change programmes.

• Manage complex, high-volume employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance issues
• Lead investigations, hearings and the production of outcome reports
• Support and deliver organisational change initiatives, restructures and TUPE transfers
• Provide expert advice on employment law, HR policy and best practice
• Contribute to the development, review and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple service areas, influencing and challenging where appropriate
• Partner with managers to drive effective people management practices and positive employee outcomes

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experience
• Previous experience within local government or the wider public sector (essential)
• Strong end-to-end employee relations experience
• Proven experience managing organisational change projects and TUPE transfers
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The confidence to influence, challenge and support managers at all levels

• Salary up to £50,000
