HSE Advisor in London, Greater London

Astute's Power Team is partnering with a leading Principal Contractor in the Energy sector to recruit a HSE Advisor for its London site.

This long-term contract role is on site and offers a competitive day rate, Outside IR35.

Supporting HSE Manager on site you will:

• Be a QH&S ambassador and coach, support and train project staff on positive H&S actions, behaviours and compliance.
• Manage the compliance of the H&S requirements on field.
• Review the Risk Assessments included in the Method Statements of the subcontractors.
• Assist the Project and Construction Managers in H&S matters.
• Manage H&S training needs with the HSE Manager.
• Controlling site H&S systems and have regular discussions on site about H&S performance with Site Managers and Contract Managers.
• Conduct regular assessments of construction sites and inform site management of unsafe practices and unsafe conditions.
• Candidates must hold a NEBOSH
• Candidates must have experience within a fast-paced environment on an Energy from Waste project or similar heavy industry projects.
• Must be flexible to work some weekends occasionally.
