HSE Advisor – Days & Nights Available

Integrate Resources Group is currently recruiting HSE Advisors for a major construction project in Birmingham. We have opportunities available on both day and night shifts, supporting site health, safety, environmental and quality standards throughout the project.

Shift options and rates

Day Shift – 12-month temporary contract

• First 40 hours, Monday to Friday: £25.44 per hour + £3.06 holiday pay = £28.50 per hour PAYE

• Over 40 hours and Saturday: £34.36 per hour + £4.14 holiday pay = £38.50 per hour PAYE

• Lodge: £60 per day

Night Shift – 6–8 week temporary contract

• First 40 hours, Monday to Friday: £29.45 per hour + £3.55 holiday pay = £33 per hour PAYE

• Over 40 hours Monday to Friday / Saturday: £38.38 per hour + £4.62 holiday pay = £43 per hour PAYE

• Lodge: £60 per day worked

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the company's HSE strategy and maintain high health and safety standards on site.

• Conduct regular site inspections and safety walks to monitor compliance with site procedures and legislation.

• Assist with the preparation, review and maintenance of risk assessments, method statements and other HSEQ documentation.

• Advise site management and project teams on health, safety, environmental and quality matters.

• Investigate accidents, incidents and non-compliance, prepare reports and follow up on corrective actions.

• Maintain accurate HSEQ records and ensure documentation meets legal and contractual requirements.

• Monitor working practices and identify areas for improvement.

• Support workforce safety briefings, training requirements and HSE meetings.

• Work closely with site management and installation teams to ensure HSEQ plans and procedures are followed.

Requirements

• NEBOSH qualification required.

• NEBOSH Diploma required for the day-shift position.

• Valid Safety Critical Medical.

• Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

• Previous experience in construction or heavy industrial environments.

• Experience working on steel structures would be an advantage.

• Strong communication, reporting and site inspection skills.
