Duration: 6 months
Day Rate: £400 per day (Outside IR35)
Chesterfield - 5 days per week on-site

Are you experienced in construction site safety and looking to make an impact on a major solar panel project?
Do you thrive working on-site where your expertise helps deliver high standards of safety and compliance?

We are supporting a groundworks and civils contractor with a full-time HSE Advisor role based on a construction site in Chesterfield. This is a contract position expected to run until February 2027, with an immediate start.

The successful HSE Advisor will:

• Support site safety management on a groundworks / civils project at a solar panel installation site.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Lead incident investigations and assist with implementing corrective actions.
• Promote a proactive safety culture within the team and contractors.
• Help manage permits to work and emergency response procedures.

The ideal candidate will have:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
• Previous construction site safety experience.
• Strong communication skills, able to engage confidently with on-site teams.
• Proven track record delivering safety improvements in a fast-paced environment.
