The Role
 
You will lead the development of the company’s HSE strategies, policies, and programmes, ensuring all activities meet current and future standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing HSE systems, conducting audits, and developing management plans to ensure safety and quality are embedded into every aspect of operations. You will champion safety initiatives, promote best practices, and collaborate with leadership to sustain a culture of continuous improvement.
 
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
 
  • Proven experience at a senior level within a high hazard or regulated industry, such as on a COMAH site
  • Extensive knowledge of HSE systems, standards, and practices, with a successful history of implementing process improvements
  • Experienced in leading and managing Safety and Quality teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences
  • Degree qualified, with IOSH Diploma or equivalent, and CMIOSH status
  • Lead Assessor qualification – ISAS or equivalent, and CCNSG certification
