HSE Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HSE Manager to join a leading organisation delivering major construction and infrastructure projects across the Newcastle region. A well-established and respected contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex construction and infrastructure projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Continued growth has created the need for an experienced HSE professional to support project teams and promote a positive safety culture.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health, safety and environmental management systems across multiple sites. Duties will include conducting site inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, investigating incidents, delivering training and guidance, and working closely with operational teams to embed best practice throughout project delivery.

Applicants should have proven experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental management role within the construction or infrastructure sector. A thorough understanding of current HSE legislation, strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels are essential. Relevant HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH are expected.
