They are seeking an EHS Manager to introduce fresh ideas and improve processes, systems, and culture within a heavy manufacturing environment. Day-to-day of the role:

• Ensure legal compliance for health and safety in the workplace by conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain the highest standards.
• Lead training sessions for new and existing staff, identifying and assisting in staff development opportunities.
• Use continuous improvement techniques to enhance and sustain health, safety, and environmental performance and management systems.
• Conduct timely incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Create, implement, and review Risk Assessments, safe working procedures, and method statements.
• Deliver the company's Health and Safety strategy and initiatives for the site.
• Stay updated and informed on all health and safety legislation, including any changes.
• Review and update all existing company Health & Safety documentation in line with statutory obligations, including CDM Regulations.
• Conduct regular health and safety inspections/audits at each project site and prepare detailed H&S audit reports.
• Review and update all RAMS and COSHH assessments as necessary.
• Investigate all accidents and near-miss incidents and record the findings.
• Coordinate and lead all H&S Training.
• Assist the Pre-Construction Team with Health & Safety Questionnaires.
• Ensure that Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards are adhered to, including the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001, & 45001.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience in a heavy manufacturing environments such as Chemicals, Plastic or Metal Processing or Coatings manufacturing?
• Experience managing a site within HSE.
• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• Ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
• Proven experience in driving changes and improvements.
• Positive, friendly, driven attitude, with an outgoing change agent.
