Are you a passionate and dedicated Humanities teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school to recruit a qualified and enthusiastic Humanities teacher with a specialism in RE and History.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school environment where Humanities subjects are highly valued. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality RE and History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging RE and History lessons that inspire and challenge students
- Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, adapting lessons to meet the needs of different abilities
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school community
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement
- Encourage students to develop their knowledge, critical thinking and understanding of key historical, religious and cultural topics
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialism in RE, History or a related Humanities subject
- Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge across RE and/or History
- Experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4
- A passion for Humanities and a commitment to supporting student progress
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
