We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected secondary school in Stockport for a talented Humanities Teacher to teach a combination of History, Geography and Religious Education. This is a long-term position with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

• Full-time Humanities Teacher

• Teach History/ Geography/ RE across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge students

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Assess, monitor and support student progress

• Work collaboratively within a supportive Humanities department

• Rated Good by OFSTED

• Well-established and highly respected within the local community

• Strong leadership team with a supportive and collaborative culture

• Good student behaviour and a positive learning environment

• Excellent facilities and ongoing professional development opportunities

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching one or more Humanities subjects at secondary level

• Ability to teach across History, Geography and/or Religious Education

• Strong classroom management skills

• A passion for inspiring young people and raising achievement

• Commitment to delivering engaging and high-quality lessons

• £170–£250 per day (dependent on experience)

• Long-term opportunity with the potential for a permanent contract
