VGC Group are looking for an experienced HVAC Fitter Supervisor to start on a project in Birmingham. This contract is available to start as soon as possible, and we can offer up to 2 years' worth of work to a successful candidate.

HVAC Fitter Supervisor Experience Your role as an HVAC Fitter Supervisor will be based in Birmingham and will consist of:
- Following all health, safety and environmental procedures and wearing the appropriate PPE at all times.
- Leading and supervising a team of HVAC fitters to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
- Overseeing the installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Allocating daily work activities and monitoring workforce performance.
- Conducting toolbox talks and ensuring workforce compliance with site procedures and safety standards.
- Reading and interpreting HVAC drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Ensuring all HVAC installations are completed in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Managing installation quality and resolving any technical issues that arise on site.
- Coordinating with site management, engineers, subcontractors and other trades to maintain project progress.
- Monitoring material usage and assisting with labour and resource planning.
- Supporting testing, commissioning and handover activities where required.
- Ensuring work at height activities are undertaken safely and in compliance with site procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records of completed works, inspections and progress updates.
- Identifying potential hazards and implementing effective control measures.
- Mentoring and supporting team members to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Reporting incidents, near misses and safety concerns in accordance with company procedures.
Based in Birmingham, remuneration for this role is £28.38 per hour PAYE. You will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
