  • Assist with same-day and emergency breakdown hose replacement, including site visits where required.
  • Carry out pressure testing of completed hose assemblies in line with relevant standards and quality procedures.
  • Accurately complete job cards, works orders, and delivery documentation.

  • Experience operating hose crimping equipment.
  • Good customer service and communication skills, comfortable in a counter sales environment.
  • Methodical approach with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience with a hydraulic hose distributor or depot environment.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic fittings and adaptors across multiple thread forms (BSP, JIC, ORFS, Metric).
  • Familiarity with brands such as Parker, Gates, Manuli, Alfagomma, or Stauff.
  • Experience with mobile plant, agricultural, or construction machinery hydraulics.
  • NVQ or equivalent qualification in fluid power, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Forklift licence.
  • Experience using stock management or ERP systems.

Personal Attributes

  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload effectively.
  • A team player willing to support colleagues across the depot.
