ICT Design Engineer – Hyperscale Data Centres

We're recruiting for an experienced ICT Design Engineer to join a leading international data centre contractor delivering some of Europe's largest hyperscale projects.

This role will focus on developing and reviewing ICT designs during the pre-construction phase while supporting construction teams through to commissioning and project handover.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review ICT design packages from concept through to construction.
• Review consultant drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Support bid and tender activities.
• Coordinate with MEP, CSA and Electronic Security design teams.
• Ensure designs comply with client standards, industry regulations and best practices.
• Support construction teams by resolving design queries and conducting site inspections.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and vendors.
• Manage project documentation including shop drawings, red-line drawings and as-built documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in ICT, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in ICT systems design.
• Experience delivering large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of structured cabling, network infrastructure and ICT systems.
• Experience with Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
