Berry Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of New Forest District Council for an experienced and motivated ICT Senior Analyst to join their team.

We are looking for an ICT Senior Analyst who can turn technical opportunities into practical solutions and who enjoys working collaboratively to deliver continuous improvement.
The Role
As an ICT Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting and improving the Council's applications and technical services.
You will act as the technical lead for the revenues and benefits systems, taking responsibility for administration, configuration and ongoing optimisation. You will work closely with suppliers, project teams and internal stakeholders to ensure systems are reliable, effective and aligned with business requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Application administration, configuration and optimisation.
- End-to-end testing, system assurance and quality improvement.
- Supporting data migration, integration and validation activities.
- Managing supplier relationships and providing technical liaison.
- Supporting digital transformation and business improvement projects.
- Identifying opportunities to simplify processes, reduce risk and improve services.
- Working with project managers, analysts and stakeholders to deliver successful change.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across interconnected systems.
About You
We are looking for someone with a strong technical background who is proactive, analytical and committed to delivering excellent service.
You should ideally have:
- Strong experience in application delivery, technical support and service improvement.
- Experience with NEC solutions is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 technologies, including Teams, SharePoint and Power Platform.
- Experience developing and supporting low-code solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Data verse.
- Experience supporting both cloud-based and on-premises business applications.
- Knowledge of server administration, troubleshooting, maintenance and performance monitoring.
- Experience working within hybrid infrastructure environments.
- A strong understanding of system integrations, data management and connectivity.
- Experience leading technical work streams or projects.
- The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of ITIL, service management principles and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in continuous learning and improving technology and services.
