We are delighted to be recruiting an IFS Cloud Solution Architect to work within our Digital Transformation Team to own the end-to-end architecture of shape our new platform across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Finance, Warehousing, Distribution and more, and shape a platform straight from implementation handover.
The IFS Solution Architect is responsible for the overall design, architecture, and integrity of the organisation's new IFS Cloud solution. The role will ensure that IFS Cloud is configured and integrated to support the organisation's business strategy, operational processes, and digital transformation roadmap.
Working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, implementation partners, and functional specialists, the Solution Architect will translate business requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable, and cost-effective IFS Cloud solutions, and provide architectural leadership across the IFS Cloud estate, ensuring that the organisation maximises the value of its ERP investment whilst maintaining appropriate standards for data, integration, security, performance, and governance.
WHAT OUR IFS CLOUD SOLUTION ARCHITECTS DO:
- Own the end to end IFS Cloud Architecture across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Finance, Warehousing, Distribution and more
- Develop and maintain the IFS Cloud solution architecture, including functional, technical, integration, data, and security considerations
- Ensure IFS Cloud architecture supports current business requirements whilst providing a scalable platform for future growth, establishing architectural principles, standards, patterns, and governance
- Set the integration patterns that connect IFS to GenetiQ, eCommerce, warehouse systems, banking and reporting
- Work closely with business leaders and process owners to understand strategic and operational requirements, and translate business requirements into appropriate IFS Cloud solutions
- Work with the Data Manager to set the rules for master data
WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR IFS CLOUD SOLUTION ARCHITECTS:
- Significant hands-on experience with IFS Cloud or IFS Applications in a solution architecture or senior technical role
- Strong understanding of IFS Cloud configuration, extensions, integrations, APIs, workflows, and reporting
- A strong grasp of ERP architecture, end-to-end business processes, integrations, APIs, workflows and master data
- Previous experience of designing complex ERP solutions
- Experience of strong change and release governance
- The ability to act as a conduit between technical and non-technical populations
