The Role

As a Paint Technician, you'll be responsible for preparing, painting, and refinishing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring every repair is completed efficiently and with exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles and panels for paint.
• Mix and colour match paint accurately.
• Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray equipment.
• Carry out SMART repairs and full panel resprays where required.
• Polish and finish painted vehicles to a high standard.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and manufacturer standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Paint Technician, Vehicle Paint Sprayer, Car Painter, Automotive Paint Technician, or Bodyshop Paint Sprayer.
• Experience working within a busy accident repair centre or bodyshop.
• Strong knowledge of modern paint systems and application techniques.
• Excellent eye for detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential.
