Certain Advantage is hiring for an Immigration Specialist based in Filton on an initial 11-month contract
35 Hours Per Week
Rate: £46.82 Per hour Umbrella
The Role
- Manage UK immigration processes for business travel and short-term assignments.
- Liaise with external immigration providers and manage visa applications.
- Coordinate A1 and Health Insurance Certificate requests.
- Monitor visa expiry dates and manage renewals.
- Provide immigration advice and support to HR, managers and employees.
- Deliver immigration guidance and awareness sessions.
- Manage immigration requirements for non-UK/non-Irish external hires.
- Ensure compliance with Home Office sponsor licence obligations.
- Manage provider invoices and contribute to immigration projects.
- Monitor immigration legislation and ensure ongoing compliance.
The Individual
- Strong experience or qualification in UK immigration (essential).
- Employment/labour law qualification (desirable).
- Experience working with external providers or government bodies.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Committed to compliance, integrity and continuous improvement.
