If you've implemented accounting software and want to take the next step into ERP consultancy, this role gives you the chance to build on your finance experience and become a certified consultant for a cloud-based finance solution. You'll receive full product training and certification, with support from an experienced ERP consultancy team.
The role
You'll work with small and medium-sized businesses to understand how they run their finance operations, then configure the cloud-based finance solution around their requirements. You'll discuss how their chart of accounts is structured, work through trial balances and opening balances, and help customers make decisions about how to set up their new finance system.
Your work will include:
Gathering finance requirements and translating them into system configuration.
Reviewing and configuring charts of accounts.
Working with customers to prepare and validate trial balances and opening balances.
Applying your understanding of debits and credits to check that the system is set up correctly.
Advising customers on finance configuration and good practice.
What you'll need
You'll have hands-on experience implementing accounting or ERP software and be comfortable talking to finance users about how they want their system to work. You might have worked with Sage 50, Sage 200, QuickBooks, Xero, Xledger, NetSuite, SAP Business One, SAP Business ByDesign, IRIS Financials, OneAdvanced or another accounting or ERP system.
Your accounting software implementation experience is what you'll build on through training and your first three projects.
