Location: Crocus Homes, Norwich

Salary: £4,750 per annum

Crocus Homes is looking for an Independent Board Member to bring strategic insight, independent challenge and sector expertise to our Board. This is an exciting opportunity to influence business direction, support sustainable growth and help ensure strong governance and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Help shape and oversee the strategic direction of Crocus Homes.
• Provide constructive challenge and independent judgement at Board level.
• Monitor business performance, development delivery and risk management.
• Support and challenge the Managing Director and leadership team.
• Champion the values and reputation of Crocus Homes.

What You'll Bring

• Significant senior-level experience in housebuilding, construction or contracting.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
• Strategic thinking and the confidence to challenge constructively.
• An understanding of governance, risk management and effective decision-making.
• Integrity, sound judgement and a collaborative approach.

Time commitment: Approximately five Board meetings per year, plus occasional site visits, away days and events.
 

Term: Initial three-year appointment, with potential for renewal.
