Independent Living Cleaner

Job description

• Provide high-quality cleaning across communal areas of Independent Living schemes
• Complete scheduled and ad-hoc cleaning tasks to maintain excellent standards
• Operate and manage the on-site laundry service where applicable
• Carry out weekly water outlet flushing and assist with compliance tasks, including fire alarm testing
• Report maintenance issues, health & safety concerns and customer welfare matters
• Maintain cleaning supplies and support the upkeep of communal facilities and guest rooms
• Deliver excellent customer service and respond professionally to customer queries
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment

Requirements

• Previous professional cleaning experience
• Laundry service experience desirable
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Able to work independently, prioritise tasks and adapt to changing workloads
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
• Basic record-keeping and IT skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
• Flexible to work occasional evenings or weekends when required
