Indirect Procurement Manager

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our London based media client to recruit for an Indirect Procurement Manager.

The role:

My client is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to take ownership of key indirect categories including Marketing, Sales, Travel, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Financial services.

Role responsibilities:

• Define and implement robust category strategies
• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects and commercial/contractual negotiations
• Proactively monitor, manage, and negotiate contracts across the contract lifecycle to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Identify savings opportunities
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with senior internal stakeholders.
• Manage key vendor relationships
• Improve the efficiency of supplier onboarding and contract risk management.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and drive supplier-led innovation across your categories.

Skills and experience:

• Strong background in end-to-end indirect category management, with a track record of running complex sourcing projects and managing large contracts.
• Proven history of delivering significant, measurable cost savings and commercial value.
• A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and comfortably balances strategic thinking with hands-on tactical delivery.
• A sharp eye for process improvement, both across broader business operations and within the Procurement function itself.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• CIPS qualification would be desirable
