The Industrial Electrician’s responsibilities:
- Carry out installation, wiring, termination, and commissioning activities for critical power systems, ensuring all works meet relevant regulations.
- Identify, investigate, and rectify electrical and control related issues throughout installation, commissioning, and live operational stages.
- Complete detailed technical documentation, including commissioning reports, inspection records, test certificates, and compliance paperwork.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, customers, engineers, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, effectively, and to specification.
- Support the development of less experienced team members by mentoring apprentices and junior engineers, sharing knowledge and providing practical guidance.
- Deliver customer and internal training sessions covering the safe and effective operation of installed systems.
