Industrial Electrician – AWE Site
About this Position
We are currently looking for experienced Industrial Electricians to work on an AWE site, carrying out industrial electrical installation works as part of an ongoing project.
The role will focus heavily on containment installation, second-fix electrical works and general industrial electrical installation.
Job Responsibilities
- Installing electrical containment including tray, trunking and conduit.
- Carrying out second-fix electrical installation.
- Installing and terminating electrical equipment.
- Cable pulling, dressing and glanding.
- Installing electrical accessories and equipment.
- Working from electrical drawings and specifications.
- Supporting the wider electrical installation team on site.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and to the required standard.
- Working in accordance with site health & safety procedures.
Experience Required
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician.
- Strong experience installing electrical containment.
- Good experience with second-fix industrial electrical installation.
- Ability to read and work from electrical drawings.
- Previous experience working on large industrial or construction sites.
- Good understanding of site health & safety requirements.
- Relevant electrical qualifications.
- Previous AWE / nuclear / highly regulated site experience would be advantageous.
