Industrial Painter

SLR Recruitment are pleased to be assisting Neway Industrial with supplying Industrial Painters into a busy shipyard in Tyne & Wear.

This is an ongoing opportunity within a fast paced marine environment, supporting the maintenance, repair, and completion of vessels currently undergoing work on site.

Role Overview

• Undertaking industrial painting work within a busy shipyard environment
• Supporting ongoing marine projects while working to site and safety standards
• Working as part of a team to deliver work safely and efficiently

Essential Requirements

• TTP or ICATS
• Minimum 3 years' experience working within the marine sector
• Experience with industrial coatings and surface preparation
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Job Details

• Rate: £18.50 per hour 
• Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm (30 minute break)
• Paid Hours: 11.5 hours per shift
• Weekend Work: Available
• Positions Available: 12
• Duration: Ongoing, no end date

This is an excellent opportunity to join a major marine project with long term work available for experienced Industrial Painters.
