Industrial Spray Painter/Paint Sprayer

Personnel Solutions Ltd are recruiting on behalf of our well-established client in Langar, Nottingham for experienced Industrial Spray Painters to join their growing team.

The Role
As an Industrial Spray Painter, you'll be responsible for preparing and applying high-quality protective coatings to structural steel using airless spray equipment.
Duties include:
- Applying intumescent fire protection coatings
- Spraying two-pack primers and protective coatings
- Operating airless spray equipment
- Preparing surfaces prior to painting
- Inspecting finished work to ensure a high-quality finish
- Following health & safety procedures
- Maintaining equipment and keeping work areas clean and organised
Experience
Previous experience as an Industrial Spray Painter, Paint Sprayer or Airless Spray Painter is preferred.
Experience with any of the following equipment would be advantageous:
- Wiwa / Graco single-leg airless pumps
- Wiwa Dual Mix FX6002
- Graco Tri Mix XM Firetex Platinum 120
Don't worry if you've not used these specific machines – full training will be provided for the right candidate with relevant industrial spray painting experience.
Working Hours
Day Shift
Monday to Friday
7:00am – 3:15pm
Late Shift
Monday to Thursday
3:15pm – 1:30am
Overtime Available
Saturdays: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Sundays: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Pay & Benefits
- From £17.50 per hour (depending on experience)
- Overtime paid at time +33%
- Weekend overtime paid at £180 per 9-hour shift

About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous industrial spray painting experience
- Produce work to a consistently high standard
- Be reliable and hardworking, independently and as part of a team
- Have a good understanding of workplace health & safety
The following would be beneficial but are not essential:
- Forklift Truck licence
- Overhead Crane licence
