Information Manager (Document Controller) : Offshore Wind Projects

We're looking for an Information Manager who wants more than just document control - someone who wants ownership, visibility, and the chance to shape how projects are run in a growing engineering environment.
This company have been successful in developing a strong pipeline of projects, now we need a Information Management Specialists to really take ownership of Document Control, playing a key role in delivering project outcomes.
The Role
You'll sit at the centre of project delivery, ensuring accurate, controlled, and efficient flow of information across multidisciplinary teams, clients, and subcontractors.
This is a hands-on role where you'll manage the full document lifecycle while also helping improve systems, processes, and best practices as the business continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage document control across engineering projects (end-to-end lifecycle)
- Maintain document registers, workflows, version control, and approvals
- Ensure all documentation meets quality, compliance, and client standards
- Act as the focal point for project information and communication flow
- Work closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners
- Support SharePoint / EDMS usage and best practice
- Drive continuous improvement across processes, templates, and systems
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years' experience in Document Control / Information Management
- Background in engineering, energy, or infrastructure projects (offshore wind a plus)
- Strong experience with EDMS tools (e.g. Aconex, SharePoint)
- Solid understanding of document workflows, revision control, and governance
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- This is an Office role, in Central London.
