Infrastructure Engineer - (Mac experience) Bristol

Location: Bristol - 3 days per week in the office
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 + benefits
Exceptional candidates: Up to £55,000

Are you an Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems and getting involved in more than just the day-to-day IT environment?

I'm working with an exciting, growing technology business in Bristol that is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where no two days are necessarily the same and you're encouraged to get involved across different areas of technology.

The ideal person will have experience in a start-up or scale-up environment and be comfortable wearing multiple hats. You'll have the opportunity to work on infrastructure projects, contribute to the implementation of new technologies, improve existing systems and jump in to support colleagues and the wider business when needed.

What you'll be doing
Managing and supporting the company's infrastructure and end-user environment
Getting involved in the implementation and rollout of new infrastructure, systems and technologies
Managing and improving device environments and endpoint security
Troubleshooting hardware, software and infrastructure issues
Supporting and improving the company's MDM environment
Working across both Mac and Windows environments
Contributing to IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Working closely with colleagues across the business and helping wherever your technical expertise is needed
Taking ownership of problems and seeing them through to resolution
What we're looking for

You'll ideally have:

Solid experience working as an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer or similar
Strong experience supporting Mac environments
Experience with MDM / endpoint management
Some experience working with Windows environments
A good understanding of infrastructure, networking, security and cloud technologies
Experience implementing and rolling out new technologies or infrastructure
A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving
Experience in a start-up, scale-up or similarly fast-paced environment would be highly advantageous
A willingness to wear multiple hats and get involved outside your immediate area of responsibility
