Installation Manager

Working closely with site teams, installers, clients and internal management, you will play an important role in maintaining strong customer relationships while maximising operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities of an Installation Manager:
- Manage and coordinate flooring installation teams, ensuring resources are used efficiently
- Allocate jobs, forecast upcoming installation requirements and coordinate logistics
- Manage daily fitting schedules and ensure installation dates are achieved
- Liaise with site teams and installers regarding scheduling, site readiness and progress
- Monitor installer performance, quality and cost efficiency
- Support site visits, readiness checks and Health & Safety compliance
- Process and validate fitter invoices and purchase orders
- Forecast workloads and installation requirements to support business targets
- Report on logistics performance, profitability and operational efficiency
- Manage company vehicle schedules, servicing and maintenance
- Review corrective action reports and ensure issues are resolved promptly
- Support the Operations Manager and Contracts Manager with day-to-day operational requirements
- Previous experience in scheduling, logistics, installations or operational management
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with site teams, installers and senior management
- Able to make quick, commercially aware decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience managing teams, workloads or contractor networks
- Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure
- Confident working independently and as part of a wider team
- Experience within housebuilding, construction, flooring or installation
- Knowledge of installation scheduling and logistics operations
- Experience working with contractors, fitters or field-based teams
- Understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS and site readiness requirements
- Experience with vehicle fleet coordination, purchase orders or contractor invoicing
- £30,000–£34,000 salary, dependent on experience
- 32 days holiday, including Bank Holidays and Christmas closure
- Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm
- Office-based position in Solihull
