About Us

We are a growing company based in Todmorden, manufacturing, delivering and installing specialist equipment throughout the UK. We pride ourselves on our friendly, supportive team and are looking for a practical, reliable individual to join us as an Installation Technician / Driver.

This is a varied, hands-on role involving nationwide deliveries, assembly and installation of specialist equipment in homes, schools, hospitals, exhibition venues and other customer sites. Full training will be provided.

The role requires regular overnight stays (typically at least one night per week). When not on installations, you will assist within our factory, warehouse and cleaning departments.

  • Travel expenses, overnight accommodation and meal allowances are fully covered.
  • An Enhanced DBS Check will be required for the successful applicant due to the nature of the environments we work in.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver, assemble and install specialist equipment across the UK.
  • Work within the factory, warehouse and cleaning departments when not on deliveries.
  • Prepare products for packing and dispatch.
  • Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Collect equipment for cleaning and refurbishment, following hygiene procedures.
  • Set up exhibition stands and demonstrate products to customers.
  • Provide customers with guidance on the safe use and care of equipment.
  • Drive company vehicles (primarily Transit vans) nationwide.
  • Carry out routine vehicle checks and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy.
  • Repair and relocate equipment at customer premises when required.
  • Complete delivery paperwork, timesheets and expense claims accurately and on time.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to work planning.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent driving skills and strong road safety awareness.
  • Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving equipment.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Practical problem-solving ability.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Willing to undertake training relevant to the role.
