My client is a large format graphics supplier based in Bristol, who are looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Installation Administrator to join their Installation team.
This is a varied role supporting the planning and administration of installation projects, helping to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently and on schedule.
You will have experience within the construction or installation industry and be familiar with preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), managing health and safety documentation, arranging access equipment and raising purchase orders.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and issuing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Reviewing subcontractor health and safety documentation.
- Maintaining training records, certificates and compliance documentation.
- Coordinating installation schedules and preparing relevant documentation.
- Liaising with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Arranging the hire of access equipment and other installation requirements.
- Raising and managing purchase orders and associated costs.
- Supporting the Installation Manager with the smooth and safe delivery of projects.
- Maintaining accurate records ensuring they are complete and up to date.
What we're looking for
- Experience in an administrative or coordination role within the construction, installation or a related industry.
- Experience preparing and issuing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), with a good knowledge of health and safety requirements within the UK construction industry.
- Excellent written English and strong attention to detail.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience raising purchase orders would be advantageous.
- Experience arranging plant, access equipment or other site equipment would be beneficial.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
