SLR Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Installer – Water & Gas Tight Sealing Systems to join our client on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop a career within a specialist installation industry. No previous duct sealing experience is required. If you have a practical background, a strong work ethic and are keen to learn, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

You’ll work as part of a specialist installation team carrying out the installation of water and gas-tight duct sealing systems on projects throughout the UK.

Working alongside experienced installers and a Leading Hand Installer, you’ll receive full on-the-job training while learning specialist installation techniques and building a long-term career within a growing business.

The role involves UK-wide travel, with accommodation and subsistence provided when working away.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation of water and gas-tight duct sealing systems.
  • Prepare work areas, materials and equipment.
  • Carry out installations in line with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and site requirements.
  • Assist with project documentation and photographic records.
  • Work closely with senior installers and site management.
  • Help manage materials, tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

  • CSCS Labourer or Skilled Worker Card.
  • Experience within construction, utilities, engineering, mechanical or electrical environments.
  • Experience using digital reporting systems such as OneTrace.
  • Previous installation experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
