Installers wanted – practical people who like building things!

Are you good with your hands, comfortable using tools and enjoy seeing a job come together from start to finish?

We are looking for practical, hands-on Installers to join a busy team installing exhibition stands, displays and temporary structures at venues across the UK.

Based on the outskirts of Stratford-upon-Avon, this is a genuinely practical role. You’ll be working with materials, tools and equipment, building structures from plans and getting stuck into whatever needs doing to get the job finished.

No two days are necessarily the same. One day you could be assembling an exhibition stand, the next loading equipment and travelling to a different UK venue to install a temporary structure.

Duties of the Installer:

• Building and dismantling exhibition stands and temporary structures from drawings and plans.
• Measuring, assembling, fixing and finishing structures using hand tools and equipment.
• Using drills, screwdrivers, saws and other workshop/site tools safely and confidently.
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment, including some heavy lifting.
• Working both indoors and outdoors at different locations around the UK.
• Working alongside a small team and taking direction from the project lead.
• Making sure installations are completed safely, accurately and to a high standard.

Essential Skills of the Installer:

We’re interested in people who are practical, reliable and aren't afraid to get stuck in.

You could have experience in:

• Construction or building
• Shopfitting
• Exhibition or event installation
• Joinery or carpentry
• Warehouse or logistics
• Set building
• Manufacturing or assembly
• Maintenance
• Or any other hands-on environment where you’ve worked with tools and materials.

Formal qualifications aren't necessarily important – practical ability is.

If you can look at a plan, pick up the right tools and work out how to put something together properly, we'd like to hear from you.

As an Installer, you will need:

• Previous experience using hand tools and assembling or constructing things.
• A practical, can-do attitude.
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work.
• The physical ability to lift, carry and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Reliability and good timekeeping.
• The ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• A full clean UK driving licence would be useful but is not essential, as transport will be provided to the various sites.
• The right to work in the UK without restriction.
• Due to the rural location, your own transport is essential in order to get to the site based on the outskirts of Stratford upon Avon.
