Interim Clinical Lead in Preston, Lancashire

Keystone Care is working with a well-established care provider to appoint an experienced Registered Nurse as an Interim Clinical Lead.

This is an opportunity to provide strong clinical leadership within a well-established nursing and residential care service supporting older people, including individuals with dementia and complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing and care team.

• Ensure high standards of clinical care, governance and resident safety.

• Oversee care planning, medication, audits, risk management and clinical documentation.

• Support staff with clinical guidance, supervision and development.

• Work alongside the Registered Manager to maintain and improve quality standards.

• Liaise with GPs, community teams and other healthcare professionals.

• Support the service with regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

About You

• Must be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.

• Previous experience in a nursing home or similar adult social care setting.

• Experience in a Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager, Deputy Matron or senior nursing position.

• Strong knowledge of clinical governance and CQC requirements.

• Confident leader with the ability to quickly establish credibility within a team.

• Hands-on, proactive and able to make an immediate impact.
