Interim Deputy Headteacher – Behaviour and Culture

Location: Secondary school near Salisbury
Contract: Interim, initially until Christmas
Start date: ASAP
Working pattern: Full-time preferred; 4 days per week considered

We are recruiting an experienced Interim Deputy Headteacher to join a secondary school near Salisbury, with a focus on behaviour and school culture.

This is an opportunity for a confident senior leader with a strong track record of raising standards and supporting staff to establish consistently high expectations.

The role

Working with the school’s leadership team, you will:

• Lead on behaviour and culture across the school.
• Support staff to embed clear expectations and consistent behaviour management.
• Strengthen standards of behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
• Help build a school culture that supports both staff and pupils.

The ideal candidate

You will be an experienced Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher or senior leader with:

• A proven track record of improving behaviour, culture and standards within a secondary school.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and motivate staff.
• A consistent approach to behaviour management and high expectations.
• Availability to start ASAP and commit initially until Christmas.

Full time availability is preferred, although the school will consider an experienced candidate who can commit to 4 days per week.
