Interim Finance Manager

Interim Finance Manager 📍 Location: Tiverton area 💰 Rate: Up to £325 per day 📅 Contract: Interim (Up to 9 months initially)

A well-established manufacturing and engineering organisation based in the Tiverton area is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to provide leadership and stability to its finance function during a key period for the business.

This is a hands-on role requiring a commercially minded finance professional who can quickly build relationships, support the finance team, and ensure robust financial control and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the day-to-day activities of the finance team
• Oversee monthly management accounts and reporting processes
• Ensure strong financial controls and governance are maintained
• Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting and financial planning
• Support year-end activities and audit preparation
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes
• Business partner with operational and senior leadership teams
• Provide financial insight to support decision-making

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience with relevant background)
• Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar senior finance lead
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
• Manufacturing, engineering or similar operational sector experience preferred
• Experience managing and developing finance teams
• Able to work independently and make an immediate impact
• Available at short notice
