Interim FP&A Consultant

Interim FP&A SupportLocation: Herefordshire
Duration: Approx. 2-3 months
The RoleHays is exclusively partnering with a well-established business to recruit an interim finance professional to join their team for approximately 2-3 months. This is a hands-on, varied role covering:

• Maintaining and updating complex spreadsheets, ensuring data is accurate and up to date
• Analysing financial and operational data, investigating variances and identifying trends where required
• Producing regular and ad hoc reports to support the finance team and wider business
• Assisting with data gathering, validation and reconciliation activities
• Reviewing existing spreadsheets and reporting tools, suggesting process improvements where appropriate
• Working closely with colleagues across the business to obtain and verify financial information
• Assisting with finance projects and business initiatives as required
• Providing flexible support to the wider finance team during a busy period
• Using advanced Excel functions including PivotTables, V/XLOOKUPs and SUMIFS

This role sits outside month-end responsibilities, making it a great opportunity for someone who wants to focus purely on analytical and Excel-based work without the month-end reporting cycle.
