Interim Headteacher, Solihull, West Midlands in Solihull

Brava Education is working with a small independent specialist school in Solihull, who are looking for an experienced Interim Headteacher to lead the school through an important period of development and Ofsted preparation.

The role

This is a hands-on, non-teaching leadership role within a small specialist setting, supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD and some SEMH.

You will lead the day-to-day running of the school, with a strong focus on Ofsted readiness and school improvement.

The school needs a leader who will take ownership and lead from the front rather than simply delegate.

About you

• Previous experience within an independent school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Independent School Standards.
• NPQH.
• Experience leading a small specialist setting in a hands-on, operational capacity.
• Strong understanding of curriculum, teaching and learning, SEND, safeguarding, QA and governance.
• Confident taking ownership and leading from the front.

Terms

The role is available immediately, on an interim basis through to February 2027.

A competitive daily rate is offered.
