Interim Isolation Manager – Long-term temporary and ongoing, full-time starting September 2026

Here is a successful 11–18 secondary school with sixth form, part of the Cambrian Learning Trust. The school was judged Good across all areas in its most recent Ofsted inspection, including Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management, and Sixth Form Provision. As the Interim Isolation Manager, you will oversee the school's isolation provision on a daily basis, ensuring that expectations and behaviour standards are maintained consistently.

Students may be placed in isolation due to:

  • Internal suspensions
  • Removal from lessons following refusal to comply with staff instructions
  • Failure to attend after-school detentions
Duties as Interim Isolation Manager:
  • Supervising the isolation room throughout the school day
  • Maintaining a calm, purposeful, and highly structured environment
  • Ensuring students adhere to school expectations and procedures
  • Monitoring student behaviour and engagement with set work
  • Liaising with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and senior leaders
  • Building positive professional relationships with students while maintaining clear boundaries
  • Supporting students in reflecting on behaviour and making positive choices
