Interim Isolation Manager – Long-term temporary and ongoing, full-time starting September 2026

Here is a successful 11–18 secondary school with sixth form, part of the Cambrian Learning Trust. As the Interim Isolation Manager, you will oversee the school's isolation provision on a daily basis, ensuring that expectations and behaviour standards are maintained consistently.

Students may be placed in isolation due to:

  • Internal suspensions
  • Removal from lessons following refusal to comply with staff instructions
  • Failure to attend after-school detentions
Duties as Interim Isolation Manager:
  • Supervising the isolation room throughout the school day
  • Maintaining a calm, purposeful, and highly structured environment
  • Ensuring students adhere to school expectations and procedures
  • Monitoring student behaviour and engagement with set work
  • Liaising with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and senior leaders
  • Building positive professional relationships with students while maintaining clear boundaries
  • Supporting students in reflecting on behaviour and making positive choices
