Interim Medication Compliance Lead - Adult Social Care

Brava Education

A residential care provider in Surrey needs an experienced medication compliance specialist on an interim basis, with an immediate start available.

The CQC provider supports adults with complex needs across several residential services. Their systems and processes are mature and working; this role is about assurance, keeping standards where they are and strengthening how teams own them day to day.

The work

  • A rolling programme of medication audits across the services, including digital MAR record reviews
  • Regular reporting to the quality lead, identifying patterns and areas to tighten up
  • Reviewing medication incidents, getting to root causes and making sure learning lands
  • Tracking national medication safety alerts and acting on them
  • Broader compliance auditing and involvement in improvement projects
  • Coaching managers and senior staff on medication safety, with supportive challenge where needed
  • Delivering medication refresher training (Train the Trainer helpful, or willingness to complete it)

Who it suits

  • Solid experience in a CQC regulated health and social care setting
  • Hands-on medication audit experience, you complete audits rather than commission them
  • Confident working with managers across services and holding a line constructively
  • Quality or compliance officers, deputy and service managers with a medication lead background, or pharmacy technicians with care sector audit experience

Practicalities

  • Full time, Monday to Friday, onsite
  • Commutable from Guildford, Woking, Farnham, Aldershot and surrounding areas
  • Interim booking, weekly pay via umbrella, immediate start
