Description

  • Manage procurement activities across the People category, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve value for money.
  • Lead supplier negotiations and build strong supplier relationships.
  • Oversee contract management, ensuring terms and conditions are adhered to.
  • Provide procurement advice and support to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance and savings achieved.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks.
  • Ensure adherence to public sector procurement policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful Interim Procurement Manager should have:

  • Strong experience in public sector procurement (PCR2015 and PA23)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
  • Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing procurement activities.

Job Offer

  • Daily rate of £500 (Umbrella)
