An exciting opportunity for an experienced People Business Partner to support a regional portfolio of care homes across Surrey and the surrounding area. You'll partner with senior leaders to deliver people strategy, strengthen culture and engagement, and provide expert guidance across ER, talent and organisational change.

Description

This is a regional role supporting a portfolio of care homes across Surrey and the surrounding area, working closely with operational leaders and wider People teams.

  • Partner with leadership teams across a portfolio of up to 10 care homes, providing expert advice and guidance on all people matters.
  • Deliver the Company's People Plan across the region, translating wider people strategy into practical local initiatives.
  • Coach and influence leaders on employee relations, performance, engagement, retention and people-related decision making.
  • Partner with the Employee Relations team to manage complex ER matters while ensuring a fair, consistent and commercially focused approach.
  • Champion cultural change, employee engagement and the organisation's purpose, values and strategic pillars.
  • Use people data, metrics, trends and external best practice to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with Talent and wider HR teams to develop and implement succession and talent plans across the region.
  • Lead, coach and develop up to three People & Development Leads to ensure effective delivery of the People Plan.

Profile

A successful Interim Regional HRBP should have:

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR / People Business Partner role within a complex, multi-site or regional environment.
  • Strong working knowledge and practical application of UK Employment Law.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting and advising on complex Employee Relations matters.
  • Experience coaching and influencing senior leaders and operational management teams.
  • A track record of delivering cultural change, engagement or wider people initiatives.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment; care, healthcare or another regulated sector would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence at all levels.
  • A data-driven, commercially minded and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities across a geographically dispersed portfolio.

Job Offer

  • 12-month fixed-term contract in the property industry.
  • This is a regional role, supporting multiple care homes across the area. The position will involve regular travel between sites, so candidates should be comfortable working across a multi-site environment.
