We're looking for an experienced Specification Technologist who can step in and support a busy technical team on an interim basis. You'll manage specifications, pack copy and artwork accuracy, ensuring everything is compliant and delivered to customer timelines.

This is an immediate start, and the client needs candidates with Aldi APP systems experience and ideally Lidl.

The site is near Chester and is a hybrid role requiring three days on site.

The role

• Set up and maintain customer specifications in line with policies, legislation and retailer systems.
• Review and sign off pack artwork and labelling for accuracy.
• Support project meetings and Stage & Gate activity.
• Work closely with internal teams and external customers to meet deadlines.
• Contribute to internal audits and maintain technical documentation.

What you'll need

• Must have worked on Aldi and Lidl specs.
• Labelling or food law training (desirable).
• Significant experience in food manufacturing, ideally short shelf-life products.
• Excellent attention to detail and able to work autonomously.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Immediate availability.
