Interim Support Manager - Elderly Residential

We are looking for an Interim Support Manager to step into managing an elderly residential service in Leeds whilst the General Manager is on leave. You will provide short-term leadership and operational oversight to an elderly residential service, ensuring continuity of safe, effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the residential care team, ensuring clear direction and accountability.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with CQC regulations and local authority requirements, addressing any areas of risk or non-compliance.
- Implement and embed best practice in care delivery, safeguarding, and dignity in care for elderly residents.
- Liaise effectively with families, external professionals, and regulatory bodies to ensure transparent and collaborative working.
- Produce concise reports and action plans on service performance, highlighting progress and areas for improvement during the interim period.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a management or senior supervisory role within elderly residential or similar adult social care settings.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to stabilise and motivate teams during periods of change.
- Demonstrable understanding of CQC standards and local authority regulatory frameworks, with experience of inspections and audits.
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills with staff, residents, families, and external stakeholders.
- Competence in maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
