A well-established multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking a talented Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join its growing M&E team based in the Essex area. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of building projects across sectors such as commercial, education, residential, defence, and more.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical engineering design and consultancy services, contributing to projects from inception through to completion.

Day-to-Day

On a typical day, you will:

  • Develop and refine electrical designs for a variety of building projects.
  • Attend project meetings to discuss progress and address technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other professionals to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project implementation and resolve any on-site issues.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support project milestones.


Responsibilities

As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing detailed electrical designs, specifications, and drawings.
  • Assisting in the development of cost-effective engineering solutions.
  • Reviewing tenders and preparing technical reports.
  • Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Liaising with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical advice.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
  • Proven experience in delivering electrical building services design across multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Amtech.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
