Salary: £45k-£55k basic plus competitive package inc car allowance, healthcare, pension. 

Company & Project: A Tier 1 Main Contractor operating in the Mixed-use, Leisure, MOJ and Education sectors is currently expanding its estimating team. The successful business is currently looking for an ambitious Intermediate Estimator to join it's estimating team. 

Our client has secured a number of key projects in 2026/27. They are now looking to add a new Intermediate Estimator to their team to focus on their busy tender pipeline.

The business has a long-standing estimating team with a number of employees who have been with the business for over 10years. 

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for assisting with managing the cost plans and pricing of tenders under JCT D&B forms of contract.

You will assist with producing BoQs, take-offs, full cost plans, and target cost reporting, with occasional pre-construction surveying duties including deeds of appointment and procurement.

Desirable Experience:

• 3-5 years+ of experience with a main contractor or subcontractor as a trainee or assistant estimator, pre-construction surveyor, or cost planner.

• Use of Conquest software would be advantageous but not essential.

• Previous Roles: Estimator OR Assistant Estimator OR Pre-Construction Surveyor OR Intermediate Estimator OR Cost Planner.

Qualifications & Skills: Degree or HND/HNC in a construction-related subject. Excel or Conquest software experience is preferable.
